Fine of €52,000 handed down against the company SAS VANDEMOORTELE BPF

Pursuant to Articles L. 441-16 a) and L. 470-2 of the French Commercial Code, a fine of €52,000 was imposed on SAS VANDEMOORTELE BAKERY PRODUCTS FRANCE by the Direction régionale de l’économie, de l’emploi, du travail et des solidarités (DREETS) de BRETAGNE for late payment of its suppliers’ invoices. These delays were noted by the DREETS as part of an investigation launched by the DGCCRF into compliance with the rules of the French Commercial Code on payment terms.
