Fine of €210,000 handed down against GIE TF1 – ACQUISITIONS OF RIGHTS

Pursuant to articles L. 441-16 a) and L. 470-2 V of the French Commercial Code, a fine of 210,000 euros was imposed on GIETF1-ACQUISITIONS DE DROITS by the Direction régionale et interdépartementale de l’économie, de l’emploi, du travail, et des solidarités (DRIEETS) d’Ile-de-France for late payment of its suppliers’ invoices. These delays were noted by the DRIEETS as part of an investigation launched by the DGCCRF into compliance with the rules of the French Commercial Code on payment terms.
